On-Demand Workshop Videos
While many opportunities for training and professional development are synchronous, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers this collection of videos for those who cannot attend our workshops or want an on-demand overview. Additionally, our collection of brief video tutorials can be found on the Toolkit Shelf. And the CTL Blog also offers some videos in its Quick Look series.

Workshop videos listed below are arranged chronologically. Use the drop-down menu to navigate to videos for a specific academic year. Optionally, you can search our entire collection by title and/or key words.

LiveTalk training is recommended for BSPH faculty and teaching assistants who are new to online teaching or would like a refresher on managing a synchronous Zoom meeting. It is appropriate for those teaching traditional online courses and those relying on a Zoom meeting in any course format.
The session includes an overview of managing the Zoom class session as a host or co-host for a course. Special attention is given to the pre- and post-meeting facets of faculty self-run (i.e., self-managed) LiveTalks! Many of Zoom's features, including polls and whiteboards, plus security recommendations are discussed.
Note: A decision was made with this session that our LiveTalk training will be in an on-demand, asynchronous format moving forth. Please refer to the LiveTalk page on our Toolkit for further information about this learning activity.
