Classroom Support
Classroom support is offered by the Multimedia technical support team, which provides technical and operational support on behalf of the Office of Information Technology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The Multimedia team oversees and offers assistance with the setup and operation of all classroom instructional technology equipment; audiovisual recording, editing, and distribution; digital media; and video conferencing. They also provide support for special events.
The team provides training for faculty, staff, students, and visiting lecturers on equipment operation in classrooms; sets up requested multimedia equipment for classes; responds to and resolves classroom technology–related inquiries; and performs preventive maintenance on classroom equipment. They can meet with faculty, staff, students, and visiting lecturers before the start of a term or event to provide instructions and perform test runs.
The Multimedia team also provides support for hybrid teaching, lecture capture, and collaborative technologies.
