Mia Lamm

Continuing Education Program Manager / Senior Instructional Designer

As the Continuing Education Program Manager and Senior Instructional Designer at the Center for Teaching and Learning, Mia oversees the development and delivery of continuing education programming, ranging from non-degree courses and trainings to innovative offerings such as massive open online courses (MOOCs) and open educational resources. She partners with faculty and subject matter experts to design and develop high-quality instructional content. Mia frequently collaborates on cutting-edge and interdisciplinary projects that may not fit traditional categories, supporting new ideas and approaches in teaching and learning.

Mia also provides pedagogical support, course design consultation, professional development training, and evaluation services to faculty at The Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. She serves as project manager for a wide range of instructional initiatives, coordinating closely with the CTL team of instructional designers, technologists, web developers, media producers, technical writers, and other specialists to ensure the smooth workflow and successful development of educational materials and lecture artifacts.
