Lauren Dana

Instructional Designer

Lauren joined the instructional design team at CTL in May 2022. Lauren is a long-term resident of Baltimore City who will work both remotely and in the CTL office. Currently, Lauren helps her colleagues in the support and development of courses.


Before joining CTL, Lauren was a secondary classroom teacher of  and content developer for Spanish, English, and Humanities courses. She also spent summers as a writing instructor for Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. She currently gives back to her local community in the role of a Senior Instructor for the after-school program Adelante Latina, an organization that helps first generation Baltimore City High School Seniors achieve their dreams of college. Lauren holds her BA in English Literature and History from Bucknell University and her MA in English Literature from Georgetown University. Lauren has also completed the Teaching Certification Program at the Notre Dame of Maryland University and is currently obtaining her MA in Instructional Systems Design at UMBC with a focus on UDL and Adult Learning.
